Finding the missing place

Spain & Poland
Today our students gave directions to the places from their towns. They worked on the map shared on Smartamp and, at the same time, they were participating in the video conference.

First task was to place some photos of the real places from their hometowns on the joined draft of a map.

Second one, was to give the direction to the chosen place and guide the students from a partner country, who drew the route on their worksheets.

The one who got to the correct place, had to show the route on the Smartamp map. This time our students have surprised us with their ability to cooperate, to focus and to communicate.

Both of us, the teachers, had an impression that this task may be too difficult, but it turned out that most of our pupils were able to give the way, and to find the way perfectly.

'Finding the missing place' activity was to test the ability to communicate in English. It was also the way to make the places from both towns more familiar to our students.
