The Project

Today’s globalised digital world belongs to our students. In the future more than 50% of them will get the job which hasn’t been invented yet. Therefore, teachers are obliged to teach in a modern way.

Our students need to be prepared  for the challenges of the XXI century. They need critical thinking skills , they need to know how to work in a team to provide new solutions and ideas, to be inventive and creative.

In this project, our students will be able to work with students from different parts of Europe. Thanks to digital apps, students will exceed the distance between themselves. They will be able to communicate in order to work on shared tasks.

To achieve the goals we will use a common Virtual Learning Environment in which, students from Poland and Spain, will work in the same virtual class and teachers will teach common curriculum. Teachers will interact with themselves and with the students  by using common digital contents as if they were physically in the same classroom.

Students will learn English in the XXI century way - in a virtual class. They will work in collaborative groups by shared activities and videoconferences. They will use English to be in touch with their partners.

Objectives:
1.- to give students a chance to use English in practise and in real situations,
2.- to apply new technologies in teaching and learning process,
3.- to develop collaboration between students from different countries.
4.- to involve our students in attractive and motivating activities which include an inquiry based learning.
5.- to involve our students in activities which develop the critical thinking skills.

In this project we want to create a Virtual English Class between students from Poland and Spain. That means our students will be learning the same topics at the same time, like if they were in the same school and in the same class.

That implies these points:
1.- English teachers from both countries must agree the common and shared curriculum they will teach.
2.- Teachers will establish a common schedule to work on with their students.
3.- Students from both countries will work together with digital apps, like Edmodo, Google Apps, Blogger…
4.- At least, students will make a shared digital activity in each UNIT. That means our students will work together every week or every two weeks.
5.- Our students will be in touch also after classes, because they will do some homeworks together.
